Dr. Dietmar Laudert is senior scientist and comptetence team coordinator is strain develoment and biochemistry. His research included metabolic engineering of plant signal pathways, and pathway en enzyme engineering of vitamin production in B. subtilis. He previously worked as project manager in a public-funded project and in the biotechnological industry.

Dr. François Lecointe is a researcher for the MICALIS institute. His work focuses on DNA repair mechanisms, mainly the identification and roles of the interacting partners of SSB in Bacillus subtilis. For this purpose, he developed expertise on identification and characterization of protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions. More recently, he has focused his research on the non homologous end joining in B. subtilis and search for its interaction with the other DNA transaction mechanisms in the cell.
