Dr. Matthieu Jules is a permanent Research Associate for the MICALIS Institute at INRA. His research activities focus on the functional characterization of molecular sub-systems of the bacterial metabolism and the development of systemic approaches (Live Cell Array). During the recent BaSysBio project, he investigated in living cells the response dynamics of the B. subtilis regulatory network upon nutritional perturbations. In close collaboration with a group of mathematicians (V. Fromion), his current works aim at deciphering the effect of growth rate adaptation on major cellular functions, especially transcription and translation.
