Bioinformatics

WP3 – Bioinformatics and information system will collect, store, organise and make available to the project partners data and information generated in the other work packages whose common availability is deemed critical for the project success. This information concerns several data types including transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, fluxomics, promoter activities from Live Cell Array data, phenotypes and physiological data, as well as metadata providing information about the genotype and the conditions of the experiment. Structured databases of strains with reduced genomes and their associated phenotypes will be created and federated with databases for experiment annotation and meta-data. A revised structural annotation of the B. subtilis genome will be provided.
